When that man Moses
on the first mountain
saw a bush burning but not consumed,
He saw Something.

When that man Jesus,
thirsty, hungry, exhausted
in the desert some 40 days,
saw Satan strolling towards him,
snickering,
He saw Something.

When that bastard boy, Arthur,
pulled that blade which could not be pulled
from the stone,
he pulled against Something.

When I hear an elf giggle
in the woods behind my home,
I doubt I hear Something.

But,

after I stop wrestling
with the rational in my self,
finally,
I hear Something,

and joyfully join in the
Great Joke!
