673 The Swarm 4-21-17 (go to 580 for key word search)

We are of the Spirit,
at times.
We believe.
We worship.
We confess.
We wait for Heaven
with bated breaths.

And we are of the Flesh,
at times.
We devour.
We quench our blood thirst.
We sait our lusts.
We digest gory victory,
until,
engorged,

we forget.

And then,
we are of the Spirit
in Word and Deed.

(until we hunger,
and must
feed.)

  1. Luther would say, simul iustus et peccator–simultaneously saint and sinner–rather than alternatingly. The beast is never truly sated, but, is wholly justified in Christ.
