715 somewhere, surrounded by rainbows… 10-3-17 (use key word search box)

In the confluence of serendipitous,
commodious circumstances,
there is a rainbow in our commode:

a long, thin, rectangular, east-facing window
above our deep, tiled, no-curtain-needed, shower;

a crystal ball, as small as a golf ball,
suspended from that window;

a smooth, glazed corner of the glass wall shower;

the angle,

through the window,
through the crystal,
through the glass wall,
through the open door of the WC,

which the 8:17 AM sun-light cuts

to paint the closets slate gray walls
and white toilet bowl,
a riot of rainbows,
the walls foiling the shimmering colors,

providing a satisfying…

respite,

dappled in Natures basic palate.

I seek
rainbows
in the ordinary necessities
of otherwise
humdrum activities,
of my day.

Who knew shitting could be so,

artistic?

The Louvre in a loo!
