820 WHAT’S GIVEN, TAKE 3-10-19

Just recently,
I won
the multi-million dollar PowerBall.

I got six bucks.

I’ve learned to take what I get.

Sure,
Fortune might have
smiled her brighter smile
at me.
I could be sitting in the parking lot
waiting for Bank of America
to open its doors…
waiting…
waiting…
waiting…
but,
now,
I can buy
two fish filet combos,
sweet potato fries
and a lemonade
at Bo Jangles.
Sure it’s BOGO
but the pleasure is not bogus
and I will walk away with
silver coins
jingling in my pocket…

I’m seventy.
Life is enough,
and good.
