At last!

a birth of a god
we can know,
broadcast among us
like a dusting of snow.

Night disappears
in a diamond glow
revealing our way
into glorious day.

Greeted by vagabond kings
and a choir of angels
protecting poor shepherds
in folded wings.

The story is told
year after year
to show us, by faith,
we have nothing to fear.

Just one of the many
paths we might climb
to life in heaven
at the death of time.
