1006 though He slay me, yet… 06-06-21

To rest in the hollow of Gods hand

is to risk being crushed

in a fit of His rage.

A prayer for the working

of Gods will in your life

is a prayer to be refined

in unquenchable fire,

perhaps,

without the comforting presence of

Shadrack, Meshack and Abednigo….

Remember Job?

After,

he had a different set of children

after,

his first born were no more

after

his friends left him sitting on a dung heap,

scraping scabs from his boils

and Gods answer to his question was,

“Who in hell do you think you are?”

“Never the less,

not my will,

but Yours be done.”

Amen.

(Yep. It’s a tough one.)
